I am concerned with getting in shape mostly these days. I want to be more toned and fit so to do this I am allowing myself to a healthy diet (on most days). I have been working out a few times a week, although not really a cardio work out but just weights and benching. In my family, there are a few concerns with high blood pressure and cholesterol. So this is a big issue for me as I advance through life and my college years which are supposed to be the worse years for health with some students. I say this because people do not always eat healthy and have bad habbits. I am only 21 going on 22 in a couple months so I want to progress through living a healthy quality life.
Interview with: Dhruvi, Age 19
When I talked to my friend Dhruvi, she told me that she was concerned with her weight even though she is not under or overweight. To me she is a perfect size, but recently she thinks she has been having flucuating weight while she traveled over her break. She wants to start eating a more healthy diet just as I wish to do. Dhruvi gets some cardio work out some days by walking on a treadmill. She told me she sleeps for a few hours each day after class or work. I found this wierd because she is really tired everyday in the afternoons and she is still very young.
Interview with: Lisa, Age 21
In my interview with Lisa she told me she was always thin and have never been overwieghed or have not had any health concerns. I have known her for a few years now and she has never been really sick except with an occasional cold or sinus problem etc. She told me eating healthy and exercising are the main things she stays focused on. We all had this in common.
